Our Story

Epilogue Woods was started over a round of beers and a flurry of ideas. Co-Founders Eli Arnow (right) and Matt Rohrs (left) sought to build quality furniture with modern designs using sustainable practices. To achieve this, the concept of Epilogue Woods was born. 

Located an hour north of New York City, we source fallen or storm damaged trees from within our region and mill them into boards in the Hudson Valley. We use a solar kiln to dry the wood, which produces the highest possible quality lumber. From tree to finished furniture, our hands play a part in the entire process.

As soon as I was able, I sought out quality pieces of furniture that would last a lifetime...I had a hard time finding what I wanted in stores so I turned to Etsy and found Epilogue Woods.
