Epilogue Woods was started over a round of beers and a flurry of ideas. Co-Founders Eli Arnow (right) and Matt Rohrs (left) sought to build quality furniture with modern designs using sustainable practices. To achieve this, the concept of Epilogue Woods was born.
Located an hour north of New York City, we source fallen or storm damaged trees from within our region and mill them into boards in the Hudson Valley. We use a solar kiln to dry the wood, which produces the highest possible quality lumber. From tree to finished furniture, our hands play a part in the entire process.
I had a wonderful experience with Epilogue Woods. The table is truly stunning and beautifully crafted. Matt and Eli were very responsive, and even built us custom walnut legs when the original metal ones were too short but we wanted them in the same shape. Shipping was prompt and everything was securely packed. Beyond their excellent service, these guys just have a gorgeous eye for color, shape, and detail. We looked at a lot of live edge tables, and could not be happier with this one. Great experience, greater table!

"We are so completely delighted with the beautiful design and excellent workmanship performed by Epilogue Woods, in our case a pair of handcrafted bifold doors. Eli and Matt were a pleasure to work with, 100% reliable, and our expectations have been exceeded. We wholeheartedly recommend Epilogue to anyone!”
As soon as I was able, I sought out quality pieces of furniture that would last a lifetime...I had a hard time finding what I wanted in stores so I turned to Etsy and found Epilogue Woods. They helped me design two pieces and built them for me within a few months. They were very patient with me and all of my questions, and responded quickly. Sooner than I thought, I got the message that both pieces were ready. Seeing the pieces in person for the first time was something special. They're everything I could've asked for and more. Truly stunning. I can't thank Matt and Eli enough for what they've created.
